we are a diverse group of ubc students who share a passion for aircraft design and innovation. our members are drawn from a variety of disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, engineering physics, computer science, materials engineering, physics, general sciences and arts!\\we started almost two decades ago in 1992. since then we have built a r/c freighter aircraft each and competed in the annual sae aerodesign heavy lift competition. we have proudly held among the top 10 positions almost every year. we came 1st place during our first year in 1992.
